One of the greatest things you can donate is your time. At MAAW, you will be helping to care for the animals of Castlemaine and surrounds.
Volunteering: What You Need to Know
Volunteering at MAAW for as little as an hour a week can make a difference to you and our animals.
- Dog walking - you get fit while you are volunteering, and you get to make some new furry friends
- Cat enrichment - the cats would say you are the one benefitting from them
- Op Shop Volunteer Retail Assistant - You get to enjoy a busy retail environment, and you get to meet and thank personally some of our fabulous and very generous donors
How to Apply
Download the volunteer application form or pick one up at the op shop, where we can meet you in person and talk to you about the options for volunteering.
Before you start volunteering, you will receive training and may be asked to have a tetanus injection if you prefer to work at our shelter.
Please call our shelter on (03) 5472 5277 or the Op Shop on (03) 5472 4200 to arrange a time to talk to our team about the benefits of volunteering for our organisation.
